Chicopee, MA. A 53-year old Massachusetts woman’s life changed this morning when she woke up the only winner of the second largest Powerball jackpot in history, $758.7 million. WCVB and WFXT have continuing coverage.

Charleston, SC. Today an active shooter and hostage situation took place in a downtown Charleston restaurant involving a disgruntled employee. One victim died and the shooter was injured. WCSC has what we know so far about the situation.

Texas and Louisiana Gulf Coasts. Hurricane Harvey continues to strengthen in the Gulf of Mexico, and is predicted to make landfall Friday night. This storm has the potential to become a category 3 hurricane. Preparations are being made and KGBT, KSAT, WOAI, KABB, KTRK, KPRC, KPLC, WAFB, WDSU, and WVUE have the latest on the storm’s developments.

Welcome our Newest Employee, Adam Day!

August 24, 2017

Our team just got a little bigger with our newest addition, Product Operations Manager, Adam Day. Adam’s previous experience includes working as a Service Engineer with Microsoft, Senior Content Solutions Engineer with Verizon, and an Audio and Video Engineer with both Deluxe Entertainment Services Group and BBC. Adam has studied at Exeter College where he received an Associate’s degree in Engineering Science, Anglia Ruskin University where he received a Bachelor of Science in Audio and Music Technology, and WGU Washington where he is currently working on his second Bachelor of Science in Data Management and Data Analytics.

Fun Facts about Adam:

-He’s lived in some pretty cool places: England (Exeter, Cambridge, and London), Los Angeles, Washington DC, and he currently lives in the Seattle area.

-He’s been into mountain biking since he was 14 years old. Some of his favorite places to bike include Washington state trails managed by Evergreen Mountain Bike AllianceVancouver, BC’s North ShoreSquamish, BC, and Whistler, BC.

-He’s about to get married! Congratulations, Adam!
