Chaos in Charlottesville, VA: This weekend a “Unite the Right” rally in Charlottesville turned violent. Protesters clashed and a car rammed into a crowd of counter-protesters killing one and injuring around 20 others. Hours later a police helicopter crashed nearby when responding to these disturbances killing two police officers. Since then, vigils and additional protests have taken place across the country in response to the violence. WRIC, WWBT, and WSET have continuing coverage from Charlottesville.
Shooting in Union Grove, WI: Three men from Illinois were killed in a shooting at Great Lakes Dragaway racetrack in Wisconsin on Sunday night. WISN has more details.
Train derailment in Oklahoma: Authorities say heavy rains caused a train to derail this weekend in Sequoyah County. The area was evacuated after around 10 cars left the tracks. Schools in the area are closed today as crews work to repair the damage. FOX 23 and KTUL have the latest.
