How do you set a favorite station?
By setting favorites, you pick which stations you would like to automatically play when you launch NewsON in the app or on Roku.
Let’s start with the app. First, use the search bar to search for a station. Once you’ve picked your station, locate the star in the top right corner.
Click the star in the top right corner, and it will turn blue and white. Now it’s favorited. This station, or one of the others that you may choose to favorite, will be the first to play when you launch the app.
On Roku, you may choose up to three stations to favorite in the NewsON channel.
First, select the station that you’d like to set as a favorite. Once you’re watching the station, click the back arrow in the top left corner of your Roku remote. This will bring up a menu bar on the left side of your screen. Scroll down to the option that says “Set as favorite.” Navigate to other stations you’d like to watch as well. Now one of your favorited stations will play when you launch the NewsON channel.
